Mica Bowman
Director, Bowman Sculpture
Mica Bowman is the Director at Bowman Sculpture. Joining Bowman Sculpture in 2019, she has been instrumental in the gallery’s recent evolution where she plays a key role in shaping the company’s strategic and creative direction. Her work focuses on the commissioning, production and delivery of sculptural projects, working closely with artists, architects, institutions and private clients to realize complex and ambitious works.
In the years since her appointment, she has helped modernize the gallery’s approach, placing a stronger emphasis on contemporary sculpture by both established and emerging artists working internationally. Under her direction, the gallery has developed a program centered on innovative and thought-provoking works grounded in traditional techniques and materials.
This expanded focus has resulted in a diverse range of sculptural practices being represented, encompassing abstract and figurative works alongside large-scale installations and environmental sculpture. Mica has overseen projects across public, commercial and private settings, guiding works from initial concept through to fabrication and installation.
