HEALTH & SAFETY

UPDATED as of December 27, 2021:

Due to the recent surge of COVID-19 cases in New York City and the high transmissibility of the Omicron variant, the Board of Managers of East Side House - the owner and beneficiary of The Winter Show- made the difficult decision to postpone the 2022 edition of the Fair until the Spring of 2022.

We are devoted to making The Winter Show as safe as possible for our visitors, exhibitors and staff by adhering to the highest standards of health and safety.  While we will announce our new dates shortly, please note that guests 12 years of age and older will need to present proof of full vaccination and booster (the NEW YORK STATE EXCELSIOR PASS or a hard copy or photo of your vaccination card) and a government-issued photo ID. "Fully vaccinated" means that you received your final dose of an FDA or WHO-approved vaccine at least 14 days before your attendance date. In compliance with New York City's Key to NYC, as of December 14, 2021, all ticket holders above the age of 5-11 years old must be also be vaccinated and show proof of at least one dose of an FDA or WHO-approved vaccine.

Masks must be (properly) worn at all times at the Show.

The only exception to the above guidelines will be for guests who require reasonable accommodations due to a disability. Guests who need reasonable accommodations MUST provide proof of at least one of the following, in addition to wearing a mask properly at all times:
- Negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 24 hours of entering the Fair, or
- Negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within 6 hours of entering the Fair

In accordance with local government and CDC recommendations, health and safety protocols at The Winter Show will provide:
- Coat check handled by staff wearing gloves and masks
- Hand-sanitizer stations throughout public areas
- Frequent disinfection of surfaces
- Constant air refreshing in the Exhibition hall

Please be advised that The Winter Show reserves the right to revise its safety protocols to comply with federal and state regulations at any time.

* People are considered fully vaccinated either 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine. We strongly encourage all attendees to receive a booster if they are eligible as this has shown significant positive results in helping to protect against the Omicron variant.
