description

A silver plated three bottle tantalus, or decanter holder, by Hukin and Heath and designed by Dr Christopher Dresser. The turned ebony handle a dresser signature design. One of the rarer Dresser designs, this piece was registered in 1879 and is model no. 2046. The fine glass decanters are all original. Stamped “designed by Dr C. Dresser”, with registration diamond and model number. The lock also stamped “T. Walton, Patent Lever”.
