Two different blocks of onyx (white and pink) are precisely cut into fragments using high-pressure waterjet technology, reassembled into composite blocks, and then carved as a whole. The light within the onyx flows across both stones, making “seen and unseen” unite in one continuous, breathing surface. The work clearly demonstrates Pelletti's characteristic approach: material intelligence, rarity of stone, and an elegant dialogue between ancient form and contemporary technique.
